Here's another video from Tropica which caught my eye. Not only because the aquascape is looking particulalry nice but also what I found most intriguing was the use of root tabs.
Typically these are kept in their capsuled and popped into the substrate under plants that are hungry. In this case, as the scape was new, the capsules were opened up and spread across the substrate and then topped off with soil. This unique approach will only work with new scapes where there's no water yet but nonetheless a great way of spreading out nutrients if you are able to do it this way.
