Collection: Red Plants

The most desirable of all aquarium plants are the red/purple variety. Red aquatic plants are on the whole a bit more tricky that most other types of aquarium plants due to their higher light requirements (this is how they get their colour) - without intense light red/purple coloured aquarium plants tend to fade somewhat. You can overcome this by helping them along their way and provide your aquatic plants with plentiful CO₂, lots of fertilisers and of course lots of light.
