Mixed Boxes are the best way to add lots of plants into your aquarium without the hassle of having to choose the plants - leave it up to the experts!
Our plant manager will persoanlly pick your plants choosing a range of foreground, midground and background plants. All mixed boxes have a range of colours and sizes so when they arrive with you, it looks beautiful immediately.
What size should I choose?
Select the mixed box that is closest to your aquarium taking into consideration any wood or rocks you already have in there. If that's the case, try the next size down.
Can I request specific plants in a Mixed Box?
You can't request specific plants but if you'd like more foreground than background for eg, shoot us a message and we'll see what we can do for you.

Each box is hand-picked by our plant team using only easy-growing Tropica aquarium plants. We choose a balanced mix of foreground, midground and background plants so your aquarium looks full, natural and well-planted from the start.

Are these plants suitable for a cold water aquarium and, if so, any particular recommendations for substrate?

Some of the plants in the easy mixed box will probably be ok in a cold water tank however, I would strongley recommend going with the coldwater mixed box instead. Most of the plants in the coldwater mixed box are easy to care for plants.
For the substrate I would recommend Colombo Nutri Base

Hi, I have recently put together my tropical fish tank although I used gravel as my base material meaning I’ve added some plastic plants although I would to grow living plants, can you advise me please what would be a solution? If your plants are in pots, so I need to add soil in my tank? I have around 20 small dish in my 90 litre tank with some nice pieces of decor in there and it looks good but I realise that having a plants living in the fish tank would be a better environment for my fish.
Always best to use Tropica Aquarium Soil underneath and then try this Easy Mixed Box. For a 90L tank you would need 12-18 plants.
