For over 20 years, Aqua Essentials has helped UK fishkeepers and aquascapers build beautiful planted aquariums — starting with the freshest, healthiest plants available.
We're not a drop-shipper. Every plant we sell is held, checked, and dispatched by us from our own facility in Crediton, Devon. That control over stock is the whole point: it's how we make sure the plant that arrives at your door is one we'd be happy to put in our own tank.
Fresh stock, every week
New plants arrive with us on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week, direct from two of Europe's most respected growers, Tropica and Aquafleur. Every delivery is inspected before it goes anywhere near the website — only healthy, quality stock gets listed and sold.
Because we hold our own stock rather than shipping from a warehouse we never see, we can stand behind the condition of what we send. Fresh in, checked, listed, sold. No middlemen, no mystery.
Fast, careful delivery
Order before 4pm, Monday to Friday, and your plants are dispatched the same working day — with most orders arriving the very next day. Plants don't like sitting around, so we don't let them. They're packed with care and sent quickly, so they reach you in the same fresh condition they left us.
