    Mixed Boxes are the best way to add lots of plants into your aquarium without the hassle of having to choose the plants - leave it up to the experts!

    Our plant manager will persoanlly pick your plants choosing a range of foreground, midground and background plants. All mixed boxes have a range of colours and sizes so when they arrive with you, it looks beautiful immediately.

    What size should I choose?

    Select the mixed box that is closest to your aquarium taking into consideration any wood or rocks you already have in there. If that's the case, try the next size down.

    Can I request specific plants in a Mixed Box?

    You can't request specific plants but if you'd like more foreground than background for eg, shoot us a message and we'll see what we can do for you.

    Plant your Aquael Leddy 60 with confidence

    This plant-only collection is built around the planting area of the Aquael Leddy 60, so you get a sensible number of live aquarium plants without having to work out quantities yourself.

    Each collection contains a balanced mix of foreground, midground and background plants selected from the healthiest suitable stock available when your order is picked. Exact varieties can change, but the planting role and overall balance stay consistent.

    Choose your planting level

    Essential – 12 plants
    For a balanced planted aquarium with comfortable spacing between plants and room for the layout to develop naturally.

    Full – 18 plants
    For a denser planted look from the start. Full contains 50% more plants, giving you stronger groups, greater initial coverage and a fuller appearance while the aquarium establishes.

    What you’ll receive

    • A balanced mixture of leaf shapes, textures and shades
    • The correct total plant quantity for the planting level ordered

    If a variety is unavailable, it will be replaced with a suitable alternative that performs the same role in the planting scheme.

    Designed for the Aquael Leddy 60

    The quantities are based on the tank’s planting footprint, rather than litres alone, so the collection gives you enough plants to create proper groups instead of scattering individual plants too thinly.

    Use taller plants towards the rear, medium-height plants through the middle and shorter plants towards the front, adjusting spacing to suit the growth habit of each variety.

    Essential or Full?

    Choose Essential if you want a balanced, more open planted result that fills out over time.

    Choose Full if you want plants to have a stronger visual impact from day one.

    Plant care

    Regular fertilisation is important for healthy growth. Pressurised CO₂ is not essential for this collection, although it can improve growth. For aquariums without pressurised CO₂, Neutro CO2 liquid carbon can be used as part of a regular plant-care routine alongside an appropriate aquarium fertiliser.

    Before ordering

    This is a plant-only product. Aquarium, substrate, fish, wood, stone and decorations shown in any imagery are not included.

    Individual plant requirements can vary. Check the supplied plant labels and care information after delivery so each variety can be given suitable conditions.
