Potted plants or 1-2-GROW!?

Potted Tropica plants arrive established in rockwool. Remove the pot and wool, separate the roots carefully and plant them into your substrate. Tropica 1-2-GROW! plants are cultivated in sealed laboratory cups, making them free from snails, algae and pesticides. Divide each cup into several small portions before planting.

Choosing the right Tropica plants

Use the filters above to shop by difficulty, light demand, growth rate and aquarium position. Tropica Easy plants such as Anubias, Java fern and many Cryptocoryne species are reliable choices for lower-light aquariums without injected CO₂. Carpeting plants and more demanding red species generally perform best with stronger light, regular nutrition and stable CO₂. Check each product page for its individual care requirements.
