Created after years of testing root tabs ourselves, TerraTabs are small, concentrated capsules made to feed aquarium plants properly from the roots up.
Neutro TerraTabs are concentrated root feeding capsules for planted aquariums. They are designed to be placed directly into your substrate, giving hungry root-feeding plants access to essential nutrients where they need them most.
Most aquatic plants absorb nutrients through both their leaves and roots, but some plants are especially heavy root feeders. Cryptocoryne, Amazon Swords, Vallisneria and many red plants often benefit from extra nutrition in the substrate, especially once aquarium soil or gravel has started to lose its nutrient content.
After years of using different root tabs in our own planted aquariums, we wanted to create something better: a small, powerful capsule that delivers proper nutrition without relying on cheap fillers. Some root tabs can be bulky, weak, slow to break down or simply underpowered. TerraTabs were created to be different.
Each capsule is packed with macro and trace nutrients to support stronger roots, healthier growth and better plant colour over time. They are small enough to place easily around the root zone, but concentrated enough to make a real difference where plants need it.

How to use:
Using clean, dry tweezers, place one TerraTab into the substrate near the roots of your plants. Push the capsule roughly 3cm below the surface.
Use 1 capsule per 10 x 10cm area. For larger plants or heavily planted aquariums, add extra capsules around the main root zone.
TerraTabs are not designed to replace a nutrient-rich substrate or liquid fertiliser such as Neutro T. Instead, they give extra support to demanding root-feeding plants and help refresh tired substrate. For a new setup, you can also place the capsules across the base of the aquarium before adding substrate on top.
The capsules dissolve when wet, so work fairly quickly once you start using them. Keep the pouch sealed and store it somewhere dry, as moisture can cause the capsules to stick together.
Each capsule is designed to feed your plants for around 3-4 months. After that, simply add fresh TerraTabs to keep nutrients available around the roots.
