In the wild, it only grows submerged in slow-moving, shaded water. This plant is known for being very demanding but it's actually quite easy to grow. At Aqua Essentials we successfully grow this with moderate LED lighting, minimal fertilisers and almost no water movement. This allows the leaves to form a beautiful shape and texture.
