It's very easy for your external filter to suck up small shrimp or fry with the standard inlets that come with most filters. The Aqua Essentials Shrimp Guard gets round this problem. Made from stainless steel, it simply fits onto your filter inlet tube with ease and stops all shrimp and fry being sucked out of your tank.
Easy to clean by removing from the tank and rinsing under tap water.
Tip: Warm the rubber section in hot water before inserting over piping. The Stainless Steel Filter Guards fits over the filter's intake pipe, not over the strainer. In addition, the rubber section of these guards are sometimes white or black.

If you choose a different postage option, such as Tracked 24 or Tracked 48, you will not be covered for any damages due to delays and will assume the risk yourself if the plants do not arrive in good condition. Express Delivery includes an insurance policy, which may cost more but provides added peace of mind.

Your plants will be wrapped with recyclable Honey Comb wrap - sounds cool because it is :). It interlocks which means we don't need to use tape either, reducing our impact on the environment.
