The Hikari Tropical Discus Bio Gold pellets provide the ideal food for Discus and other tropical fish that require a diet high in protein. These worm-shaped pellets mimic the natural food that these fish would consume and slowly sink to the bottom of the tank, promoting their natural feeding habits.
With their high protein content, each pellet supports the healthy growth and weight gain of active fish that radiate with vitality. To achieve optimal results, the pellets contain a safe and odorless substitute for beef heart, as well as key ingredients like krill and silkworm pupae that encourage even the pickiest eaters to develop a healthy appetite.
The pellets are approximately 3.5-4.0mm in diameter and can be fed twice a day. Feeding small amounts and removing any excess food is recommended, and reducing water flow during feeding can be beneficial.
