This CO₂ Reactor Set not only looks super cool but it also functions perfectly and creates pure CO₂ from a chemical reaction. After this chemical reaction has taken place in the cylinder the CO₂ gas is slowly and constantly released through a pressure regulator. The gas flow can be precisely adjusted with the adjustment knob and integrated bubble counter. The gas flow can be stopped at night with the solenoid which is included with the set and if you connect the solenoid to a domestic timer, you'll have your CO₂ coming on and off when your lights are on and off making the gas more economical.

Express Delivery includes an insurance policy, which may cost more but provides added peace of mind.
Very disappointed but important to communicate not with Aqua Essentials response or service. The product was purchased brand new and set up in automatic mode. It failed on the very first use, the result very distressed fish after CO2 discharged into tank all night. The valve failed to shut on the solenoid. I requested a replacement via Aqua Essentials response who contacted Colombo on my behalf very promptly.
Colombo apparently need a photo to ensure they send a correct replacement?
Bad product, I would look for an alternative!

I am very pleased with this item .
The setup was not too difficult and I'm now producing a decent amount of Co2 which my plants love.
I will Say though the o ring on the needle valve was leaking which took me a while to figure out but the set comes with 2 spares so it wasn't too bad in the end.
This is a high quality product (faulty o ring aside ) that I would definitely recommend

I read through so many reviews in different co2 kits but nothing seemed to compare the colombo reactor kit! The facts about this is that yes you have to buy the chemical components separately, but one reaction can last you quite a while, ive only justbset this up and its over a week but the pressure gage hasnt lowered yet. But from research this is better for price! Also easiest set up ever! The diffuser is quite bif for my 30l tank but thats ok !
