Our plant manager will persoanlly pick your plants choosing a range of foreground, midground and background plants. All mixed boxes have a range of colours and sizes so when they arrive with you, it looks beautiful immediately.
What size should I choose?
Select the mixed box that is closest to your aquarium taking into consideration any wood or rocks you already have in there. If that's the case, try the next size down.
Can I request specific plants in a Mixed Box?
You can't request specific plants but if you'd like more foreground than background for eg, shoot us a message and we'll see what we can do for you.

A Dutch Style aquascape is a plant-only layout — no rock or wood — built almost entirely from stem plants, arranged in neat rows to create depth and colour contrast. It's one of the oldest aquascaping styles and, once established, one of the most striking.
A few things to keep in mind when planning your layout:
Each box includes a mix of stem and potted plants suited to this style, with at least one red or brightly coloured plant included, plus some tissue culture plants where available. Every plant is labelled to show where it goes — background, midground, or foreground.
As with all our mixed boxes, the exact plants vary week to week depending on what's freshest in stock, so no two boxes are quite the same.
You'll need a nutrient-rich substrate and regular fertilising (liquid carbon and a daily fertiliser like Neutro T, or Neutro+ if you're running pressurised CO2) to keep this style looking its best. Regular trimming and removing plant debris also goes a long way.

A Dutch aquascape is a full plant-only aquarium with no rock or wood, built from rows and clumps of stem plants with varying textures, tones and colours for a structured, formal look.
You'll get a mix of potted plants, possibly including some tissue culture plants, suitable for a Dutch aquascape. At least one plant in every box will be a red variety.
A nutrient-rich substrate and regular fertilising are essential. We recommend Neutro T and Neutro CO2 daily, or Neutro+ if you're running pressurised CO2.
Regular pruning and upkeep are important. Trim and replant new shoots, remove old growth, and clear plant debris from the tank so it doesn't clog your filter.
Match the box to your tank size: 50L needs 12 pots, 100L needs 24, 150L needs 36, 200L needs 48, and 300L needs 72.
