Description
This floating driftwood piece is pre-grown with three complementary aquarium plants: Anubias, aquarium moss, and Microsorum tripartita — a distinctive Java fern variant with deeply divided, claw-shaped leaves. Together they create a rich, multi-textured planted feature that floats at the surface and adds a natural overhead canopy element to the aquarium.
All three plants are among the easiest in the hobby. They grow in low to medium light without CO2 injection and tolerate a wide range of water conditions. Microsorum tripartita is slower-growing and slightly more light-responsive than standard Java fern but requires no more care. All three are safe for shrimp and community fish.
No anchoring or planting is needed — simply rinse and drop into the tank. The piece floats freely at the surface and can be moved or repositioned at any time. It is particularly effective in aquariums with open surface swimming space, where it creates shade and interest above the fish. The moss is especially popular with shrimp that graze along the trailing roots.
