Description
The Medium Bonsai Tree with Moss is an ornamental tree sculpture covered with live aquarium moss, creating the appearance of a miniature bonsai tree in the aquarium. The combination of the sculpted trunk and living moss blends decorative and natural elements into a single feature that works in a wide range of aquarium styles — from planted nature aquariums to community tanks and shrimp set-ups.
Aquarium moss is one of the easiest plants to maintain. It grows in low to medium light without CO2 injection and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. The moss will slowly spread and increase its coverage over time with no special care required. It is naturally attractive to shrimp and small fish that use it for grazing and shelter.
This is a ready-to-use product — simply rinse and place in the aquarium. The medium size suits aquariums of 60 litres and above and works well as a midground centrepiece or alongside other planted features. The moss may need occasional light trimming to maintain the tree's defined bonsai shape as growth fills in.

Is the tree trunk real wood or artificial?
The trunk is a sculpted decorative structure. The moss growing on it is a real live aquarium plant.
Does the moss need CO2 or specialist lighting?
No — aquarium moss is one of the most low-tech plants available and grows under standard aquarium lighting.
Will the moss spread over time?
Yes — the moss will slowly increase its coverage over the tree structure. Occasional trimming will keep the bonsai shape defined as it fills in.
What tank size suits the medium version?
It works from 60 litres upward and is effective as a midground centrepiece in a range of aquarium styles.
Is it suitable for shrimp tanks?
