Description

Juncus repens, also known as Creeping Rush, is a distinctive aquarium plant with fine, grass-like leaves that grow from the centre of the plant. It creates a loose, flowing shape that works well in the midground, especially around dark rocks, wood or other structured hardscape.

This is a good choice if you want a plant that adds movement and natural texture without looking too dense or heavy. It can grow in low light, although stronger lighting will usually produce brighter, taller growth. In aquariums it is usually seen around 20-30 cm, though it can grow larger in the right conditions.

Supplied as a healthy rooted plant in a 5 cm pot, Juncus repens can be split into smaller clumps before planting. For best results, plant into aquarium substrate and feed the roots with Neutro TerraTabs.
