I've been getting my plants from Aqua essentials, for a while now, and they all come well packed and quickly. They have been good quality and do well growing in my aquarium. The prices are fair too. Would recommend

Description
The Marimo Tree X Small is a compact decorative tree structure adorned with real Marimo moss balls — the spherical freshwater algae from Japan's Lake Akan, prized for their perfectly round form and deep velvety green surface. At its smallest size, it is ideally suited to nano aquariums, desktop set-ups, and small shrimp tanks where a tiny but living planted feature adds character without taking up significant space.
Marimo are among the easiest and most long-lived aquarium specimens available. They grow extremely slowly in low light without any CO2 injection and require very little attention — a gentle squeeze and reshape once a month during a water change is all the care they need. With proper care they can live for decades.
This is a ready-to-use product — simply rinse and place in the tank. The X small size suits nano aquariums from 10 litres upward. The Marimo spheres can be removed from the tree and placed freely in the tank if preferred, then reattached to the structure as desired.

Are the Marimo real?
Yes — Marimo are real living algae (Aegagropila linnaei). The spherical form is a natural growth habit found in certain Japanese and European lakes.
How do I care for them?
Very easily. Low light, clean water, and a gentle squeeze and reshape once a month. That is all that is needed.
Can I take the Marimo off the tree?
Yes — the spheres can be removed and placed freely in the tank, then reattached to the tree structure whenever you like.
Is it suitable for shrimp tanks?
Yes — Marimo and shrimp make excellent tank mates. Shrimp graze on the Marimo surface and the structure provides interest at a small scale.
