Rotala Orange Juice is a distinctive and unusual stem plant selected for its warm orange to amber colouration rather than the more typical red of most high-colour Rotala varieties. Under bright light and CO2 the leaves develop vivid orange to tangerine tones that are genuinely uncommon in aquarium plants and create a striking and unusual colour accent in the background of planted layouts.
It requires bright light and CO2 injection for the most vivid orange colouration and compact, structured growth. Under lower light or without CO2 the warm orange shifts toward green and the plant becomes more elongated. Iron-rich fertilisation supports pigmentation, and regular trimming keeps the stems compact and promotes fresh orange growth on new leaves.

Does Rotala Orange Juice need CO2?
Yes. CO2 injection is needed for the vivid orange colouration and compact growth. Without CO2 the orange tones fade to green and the plant grows more loosely.
