Description
Anubias barteri nana is one of the most popular aquarium plants, with compact dark green oval leaves growing from a creeping rhizome. This version comes pre-attached to a decorative base designed to float at the water surface, allowing the plant to access light naturally while keeping its roots trailing freely into the water column below. It creates an unusual and visually distinctive element in any aquarium layout.
Anubias is one of the easiest aquarium plants available. It grows in low to medium light without CO2 injection and is tolerant of a wide range of water temperatures and hardness. Growth is slow but the plant is long-lived and largely self-maintaining once established — requiring no trimming or special attention.
The floating base means no anchoring or planting is required — simply drop it into the tank and it floats wherever you position it. It can be moved or repositioned at any time and is equally at home left to drift freely or held in place under a piece of decor. Fully shrimp-safe and suitable for tropical and temperate aquariums.
