The great thing with these 'Scaped For You' Collections is that all the hard work is done for you!
'Scaped For You' Collections are ideal for those of you who just want to choose a setup and not have the hassle of having to choose the plants you need to replicate it. These collections come complete with all the plants, wood or rock needed for the aquascape you have chosen. The Collection even comes with an easy to understand diagram showing you exactly where to position the plants and materials.
Desert Wood 54L is an open aquarium with a nice little moss and Anubias barteri 'Petite'. Desert Wood consists of two pieces of Spiderwood (not included) with the bottom layer consisting of Maui fine sand with Small Aquascaping pebbles (not included). The pebbles form an effective borderline with the Maui fine sand.
The aquarium is open top so it is possible to allow the plants to grow above the waterline.
Only the plants are included in this collection. The hardscape materials such as the wood, pebbles and gravel are not included and can be purchased separately.
Plants in this collection are:
1 x Anubias 'Petite' (A)
1 x Anubias barteri var nana (B)
1 x Vesicularia ferriei 'Weeping' (C)
1 x Hygrophila pinnatifida (D)
1 x Staurogyne repens (E)
Please be aware that in the majority of cases, all plants in the collection are available to send out immediately however there may be times when a particular plant is not available so we will substitute as closely to that plant as possible.

Ive been wanting to plant my not so very planted shrimp tank up for months, and ive been trying to find the best plants to look nice (large in the back to smallest in the foreground) and i come across the scaped for you section. I am pretty much a novice at planting tanks as this is my first ever time doing it. Firstly id say that while this does come with a layout guide, it is only a guide and not a "how to" because it is only an image that is provided and nothing else. This isnt a bad thing of course because your tank is you own and you can do whatever you want with it. It took me about 2-3 hours to fully complete how i wanted it and set it up with the plants and after a few days of settling in looks so much better than i expected it. I love it and i think my shrimps do too :) - one thing to note i would say is if youre buying spider wood, make sure you weight it down or soak it for a long time before putting it in the tank as your first placement will most definitely float and cause some frustration. Id definitely buy this or another scaped for you option in the future if i wanted to do this again.

What size aquarium is Layout 28 designed for?
Layout 28 is designed for a 54L aquarium. If your tank is larger you may need additional plants to fill the extra space.
Does Layout 28 need CO2?
CO2 injection is recommended for Layout 28 to get the best results, encouraging stronger plant growth and more vivid colouration. The plants will grow without CO2 but will perform significantly better with it.
Is Layout 28 suitable for beginners?
Layout 28 is rated Average difficulty and is best suited to aquascapers with some prior experience keeping planted aquariums.
How long does delivery take for Layout 28?
