The great thing with these 'Scaped For You' Collections is that all the hard work is done for you!
'Scaped For You' Collections are ideal for those of you who just want to choose a setup and not have the hassle of having to choose the plants you need to replicate it. These collections come complete with all the plants, wood or rock needed for the aquascape you have chosen. The Collection even comes with an easy to understand diagram showing you exactly where to position the plants and materials.
Layout 60 is designed for an easy to plant and maintain 125L set up making it perfect for beginners. If your aquarium is larger than this you will have to add additional plants accordingly.
The plants have been specifically chosen and all thrive in low level lighting conditions. Plants such as the Microsorum and Cryptocoryne are slow growers so will need very little maintenance and the Vallisneria and Echinodorus are great for adding volume to your set up. The Limnophila is to be planted centrally directly under the light output and will flourish nicely and add balance to the set up.
You will also receive the hardscape materials in this plant collection and they are designed to be positioned as indicated in the diagram.

Please be aware that in the majority of cases, all plants in the collection are available to send out immediately however there may be times when a particular plant is not available so we will substitute as closely to that plant as possible.

These were delivered exactly as per my requested delivery date. A huge amount of care had been taken with the packaging and everything arrived in perfect condition. The dragonstone had some lovely shapes: as always with this type of rock, it needed a lot of rinsing but the effort was worth it and I think it looks lovely. It's my first attempt at real plants and a return to the hobby after 20-odd years so I really hope everything takes ok!

I am very happy with this set up. As mentioned in a previous review the rock provided is dragon rock which is different from the picture but lovely just the same. I have bought plants before from this company and as usual they came beautifully packaged and labelled and in excellent health. It was easy to set up and the plants all are growing beautifully. Aqua Essentials give an excellent service and everything arrived so quickly and in good condition. I am a very happy customer and will be buying plants again when the need arises.

The pagoda stone isn\'t available, so I got dragon stone as a replacement. I didn\'t create the exact layout in the picture, but having the plants and the information on how tall they will grow meant I was able to create my own custom version, which actually I really appreciated doing even though it took me a while. If you get Dragonstone, be prepared to spend hours scrubbing it to get the clay off. Aside from that the plants were all healthy and strong, and for someone like me who isn\'t a plant expert this is a great value solution.
Make sure you book a day when the items arrive to set it all up as you want to get them planted asap. AquaEssentials advised me of this - makes complete sense.
Final tip - under the rocks I used CD cases to protect the glass underneath. In the video they use polystyrene, which may work just as well, just be careful to make sure the rocks are sturdy and can\'t be knocked over easily once you place them.
