Anubias barteri nana is a compact, hardy aquarium plant with small oval dark green leaves growing from a creeping rhizome. This version comes pre-attached to a small piece of spiderwood — a pale, intricately branching wood with a distinctive angular, tangled structure that contrasts beautifully with the deep green of the Anubias leaves. Together they create an immediately ready aquascape feature with a natural, organic appearance.
Anubias nana needs very little to thrive. It grows in low to medium light without CO2 injection and tolerates a wide range of water parameters and temperatures. Growth is slow but the plant is long-lived and largely self-maintaining, requiring no trimming and minimal ongoing attention once it has settled.
The plant is pre-grown onto the spiderwood so no further attachment is needed — simply rinse and place. Spiderwood is a medium-density wood that may need a brief soak to submerge fully. Each piece varies naturally in shape and branching structure, making every product individual. Sized for aquariums from 30 litres upward.
