Description
A ceramic fish cave with two entrances pre-grown with aquarium moss, providing a larger structure with more access points than the single-hole version. The twin entrances allow multiple fish to use the cave simultaneously and give exit routes for shyer fish who need to be able to leave quickly when a more dominant fish is present. The moss covers the exterior and produces a natural overgrown appearance that integrates well into planted aquascape layouts.
Aquarium moss is one of the easiest plants available. It grows in low light without CO2 injection and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. Shrimp graze on the biofilm that develops on the moss surface and use the cave as shelter. The moss will slowly increase its coverage over the ceramic surface over time.
The moss is pre-established on the cave so no further attachment is needed — simply rinse and place in the aquarium. The ceramic is heavy and sinks immediately. The twin-hole design is particularly useful for community tanks where multiple fish need access to shelter without conflict. Works in aquariums of 40 litres and above.
Plant Sizes
The image of the plant you'll be receiving is just an example of what you can expect. Each plant is unique and may vary in size and shape, so it won't be an exact match to the photo. If we provide a size guide, keep in mind that it's just an estimate and that plants can vary in size depending on the time of year.

Product FAQs
Helpful details before you buy.
Why choose twin-hole over single-hole?
The twin entrances give fish an escape route when another fish is present, reducing stress. It also allows multiple fish to use the cave simultaneously.
What fish will use it?
Small catfish, loaches, dwarf cichlids, corydoras, gobies, and shy community fish. Multiple smaller fish can share a twin-hole cave more easily than a single-hole.
Does the moss need CO2 or special lighting?
No — moss grows under standard aquarium lighting without CO2 injection.
Is it safe for shrimp?
Yes — moss and ceramic are both shrimp-safe. Shrimp will shelter inside the cave and graze on the moss surface.
Do I need to do anything when it arrives?
No — just rinse and place in the aquarium. The moss is pre-established and ready to go.
