The Superfish 30 cm Round Pond Plant Floating Basket is a larger-format circular floating planting platform designed to hold aquatic and marginal plants at the water surface of a garden pond or water feature. The 30 cm diameter offers more planting space than the 22 cm version, accommodating larger individual specimens or multiple smaller plants together, and creates a more substantial planted feature on the water surface.
Roots grow through the mesh base of the basket into the water below, absorbing dissolved nutrients directly and providing natural biofiltration alongside the visual planting benefit. The larger basket is well suited to medium and large garden ponds where a more prominent floating feature is desirable, and it can be planted with marginal plants that would otherwise require a fixed shelf position.
Fill with aquatic planting medium, plant with your chosen aquatic or marginal plants, and place on the pond surface. Floats naturally and stably. Can be anchored with string to a fixed point if preferred. Suitable for all pond sizes, including larger ponds where the greater footprint of the 30 cm basket is in proportion to the water area.
