Description
Anubias Lucky Dip gives you one individual Anubias plant selected by us from our current stock. The variety is our choice — it could be Anubias nana, barteri, coffeifolia, or any other Anubias we have available at the time of packing. If you buy multiple quantities you may receive the same species more than once, or a mix of different ones.
The appeal is the price: lucky dip plants are available below what you'd pay for the equivalent named variety. All Anubias share the same easy care requirements regardless of species — low light, no CO2, and attached to wood or rock rather than planted in substrate — so whatever variety you receive will be just as straightforward to keep.
A particularly good option if you're building a mixed Anubias arrangement on a piece of wood or rock, where variety in leaf size and shape adds to the natural effect.

Customers praised these aquatic plants as "great looking" and "very healthy," with "deep green colour" and new leaf growth. Multiple shoppers noted they attach well to driftwood and bogwood. One customer was slightly disappointed receiving only one specimen. Overall, customers found them excellent value, though some took time to establish.

Plant was great and a nice big surprise. I might use luck dip again
Good sized and healthy plants, already throwing out new leaves
Slightly dissapointed as only one large specimen turned up. Growing well.
Lovely plant and lots of it. Goes well with rest of plants. Looks great on my bogwood. Growing well
Acquired a couple of these, placed them on some driftwood, they have taken nicely, looking very healthy & growing nicely,
Excellent plants well worth the money. Thanks aqua essentials. As Arnie says " I'll be back ".
A lovely plant, took a while to establish but growing very well now. Would recommend.
Arrived in very good condition with lots of fresh leaves growing on it, very happy on our driftwood :)
Love all the anubias plant as have to position them on my bogwood as I don't have a soil tank. Great condition
Just beautiful, I would say middle size for an Anubias, I attached it to the driftwood together with another Anubias species and they both look absolutely stunning. Bushy and deep green colour. Aquaessentials as always reliable and provides super friendly service.
I ordered two and got two healthy, attractive plants that work well together
as with all aquaessential plants they arrived quickly and in good condition, you can nearly always split them to get extra plants.
Product FAQs

Which Anubias variety will I receive?
It varies — that's the point! You'll receive one Anubias from our current stock. It could be nana, barteri, coffeifolia, or another variety depending on what we have available.
Will it be a potted plant?
Yes — it arrives in a standard pot, the same as our individually listed Anubias plants.
Is it a good deal?
Yes — lucky dip plants are typically priced below what you'd pay for the equivalent named variety. Great if you're happy to be surprised.
Are all Anubias easy to keep?
Yes — all Anubias share the same easy care requirements: low light, no CO2, and attached to wood or rock rather than planted in substrate.
Can I request a specific variety?
Unfortunately not — part of the fun is the surprise. If you need a specific Anubias, browse our individually listed varieties.
