How does lamandau differ from kedagang?
Lamandau is more compact with slightly more pointed leaves. It grows even more slowly than kedagang and builds a more tight, refined clump.
Does it need CO2?
No — grows without it, though CO2 improves growth rate and can enhance the leaf colour.
How do I plant it?
Attach the rhizome to wood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe superglue. Do not bury the rhizome.
Is it suitable for nano tanks?
Yes — the compact, slow-growing form is well suited to nano aquariums.
Is it shrimp-safe?
Yes — Bucephalandra is excellent with shrimp. The leaf surface develops a biofilm shrimp actively graze on.
