Description
Bucephalandra sp. Red is a red-leaved Bornean epiphyte that provides strong colour contrast in aquascapes dominated by green plants. The leaves carry warm red to deep red tones that can intensify under good lighting, making it one of the more visually striking colour accents available for attachment to wood and rock.
Care is the same as all Buce: low light, attached to hardscape, no CO2 required. Red colouration tends to deepen with slightly better lighting. Slow growing and low maintenance once established. Shrimp coexist well with all Bucephalandra.
Attach the rhizome to wood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe superglue. Do not bury the rhizome.

Customers praised this aquatic plant as "very healthy" and of "great quality" with beautiful deep green velvet leaves and red stems. Shoppers successfully split plants into multiple pieces for aquarium use. Some initial leaf melting occurred during adaptation, but plants bounced back with new growth. Thrives with proper lighting and CO2.

Very nice healthy plant 👍
Delivered on time and looks very nice in my aquarium tank.
I love this plant. It is a deep almost blue-green. I managed to split it into three. Very healthy and thriving.
Good sized plant... Split into 2/3 pieces... Healthy and green when arrived
Lovely plants, but with hindsight and physical plants to compare in the flesh...I should've bought more kedagang than these which are smaller.
Nice plant I’ve split it into two
Great quality, lovely red stems. Initially these looked a bit shabby after a few days but they are now bouncing back with new shoots. Beautiful leaf shape and velvet green colour leaves.
Quite a bit of melting whilst the plant got used to submerged growth but is doing well now with medium lights, EI dosing and injected CO2. No flowers yet unlike my Anubis which flowers weekly!
Fantastic little plant, arrived in great condition as always. Size of plant in picture is accurate, I managed to split it into 7 individual plants to glue onto lava rock.
Can this plant be fully submerged, never being above the water line?
Yes, this plant can be fully submerged.
