Limnophila rugosa is a distinctive stem plant from Southeast Asia with whorls of toothed, textured leaves that display a slightly wrinkled or bumpy surface — the characteristic that gives the species its name. This unusual leaf texture, combined with a warm green to brownish-green colouration, sets it apart from other Limnophila species and makes it a sought-after plant for hobbyists who enjoy unusual botanical forms.
