    Description

Bucephalandra sordidula 'Blue' is a collector's variety distinguished by a pronounced blue-toned iridescent sheen across the leaf surface — one of the more dramatically iridescent Buce varieties available. Under good lighting the blue sheen can be quite vivid, making it stand out from the more commonly green or red-toned Bucephalandra in a collection.

Care follows the same profile as all Buce: low light, attach to hardscape, no CO2 required but it enhances the iridescent colouration. Slow growing. As a rarer collector's variety, availability is limited.

Attach the rhizome to wood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe superglue. Do not bury the rhizome.
