Description

This small combination piece features Anubias, Microsorum Java fern, and aquarium moss all pre-grown on a piece of natural bogwood. The three plants complement each other to create a layered, naturalistic look in one compact feature — ideal for smaller tanks or as an additional planted element alongside other hardscape in a larger aquarium.

All three plants are among the easiest in the hobby. They grow in low to medium light without CO2 injection and tolerate a wide range of water conditions. None require substrate planting or additional fertilisation. Once settled they continue growing slowly and require very little ongoing attention.

All plants are pre-established on the bogwood so no further planting or attachment is needed — simply rinse and place. The small size suits aquariums of 30 litres and above, and works particularly well in shrimp tanks and nano set-ups where the compact scale is in proportion with the tank. The moss is especially popular with shrimp for grazing and shelter.

Healthy plants

You can see the plants on the left. They arrived healthy and after a quick check I popped them in the tank. I was surprised how big they were - fully grown. My fish love it. Especially Barbs, they love nibbling the Java. Will definetely buy more, to replace the last artificial plant left
