Description

The potted Red Bucephalandra varieties share a striking resemblance with Anubias and should be cared for in a similar manner. They typically thrive as epiphytes near or in water.

Bucephalandra sp. 'Red' thrives in low light conditions and requires minimal maintenance. The leaves are a rich dark green or deep red, with small white dots and a subtle, metallic blue sheen on the submerged ones. Each leaf is 2-4 cm wide and 4-6 cm long, with wavy edges. When planting, make sure you tie it to wood or rock and to leave the creeping rhizome uncovered to prevent rot and ensure the plant's survival.

Plant Sizes

You’ll receive a healthy, rooted plant in a pot, similar to those shown. Each one is hand-checked before dispatch.
