Make routine aquarium maintenance quicker with the Superfish AquaVac, a battery-powered gravel cleaner designed to lift waste and debris from the bottom of your aquarium without the hassle of a traditional siphon.
The AquaVac draws dirt, uneaten food and loose organic waste from around the substrate into its reusable filter bag, helping keep the aquarium cleaner between water changes. This is particularly useful in planted tanks, where debris can collect around plant bases, wood and hardscape.
Need to change the water too? Simply attach the supplied hose and the AquaVac can also be used to pump aquarium water directly into a bucket, giving you two useful maintenance functions in one tool.
Why use the Superfish AquaVac?
- Battery-powered aquarium vacuum cleaner
- Cleans gravel and substrate without automatically draining the tank
- Collects debris in the removable filter bag
- Hose attachment allows easy water changes
- Approx. 520 L/h flow rate
- Suitable for aquariums with a water depth of approximately 20–60 cm
- Useful for planted aquariums, community tanks and general maintenance
- Requires 2 × C/LR14 batteries (not included but sold separately)
How to use
Fit two C/LR14 batteries, position the cleaner head over the substrate and move it slowly across areas where waste has accumulated. The AquaVac lifts loose debris while the filter bag collects it.
For a water change, connect the supplied hose to the outlet and direct the hose into a suitable bucket before switching the AquaVac on.
Tip: Concentrate on open areas of substrate and around hardscape where mulm tends to settle. Avoid pushing the cleaner deeply into planted areas where roots may be disturbed.
