The black lava rock looks amazing in my new tank . Just randomly piled up and the fish are in and out exploring like mad . Goes really well with bright colored plants . Kinda ‘ arty’ and really cool at night to see . Would highly recommend if you would like a non tacky look to your aquarium.

Really nice rocks, quite large in size, and the majority are very porous as they should be. Good dark gray colour and turned out to be more than I needed!

Cant fault some of best examples of black lava rock i could get my hands on, a good mix of size and shape and texture and looks great in my nature scape

Unfortunately not ideal I was hoping for the more porous type of black larva rock that has lots of holes and is relatively light as is what I currently have in tank due to its nitrate removing capability once matured however with the 5kg order I got 3 rocks in total which were all the heavy type that looks more like asphalt than the holes larva rock you would expect . I smashed the big one apart to see if there were any holes and trapped unfortunately not its solid looks more like asphalt rather than larva rock! Little disappointed as my existing rocks are all light weight at extremely porous. I guess it's just luck of the draw little disappointed in all honestly as doesnt look that good either so prob wont even end up in my tank
