    Our plant manager will persoanlly pick your plants choosing a range of foreground, midground and background plants. All mixed boxes have a range of colours and sizes so when they arrive with you, it looks beautiful immediately.

    What size should I choose?

    Select the mixed box that is closest to your aquarium taking into consideration any wood or rocks you already have in there. If that's the case, try the next size down.

    Can I request specific plants in a Mixed Box?

    You can't request specific plants but if you'd like more foreground than background for eg, shoot us a message and we'll see what we can do for you.

    Give your new aquarium a strong start

    Hayai brings together 12 live aquarium plants across six varieties for a fresh planted tank. The mix gives you upright stems, broad leaves, trailing growth and a touch of red, so you can create a fuller, more varied layout from day one. You'll receive two of each variety to plant in natural groups.

    Planting and care

    Position the taller stems and Amazon sword towards the back, then use the Hydrocotyle varieties around the middle and front. Give Alternanthera a visible spot for colour. Plant into a suitable aquarium substrate and provide consistent lighting and regular fertilisation. Each variety will grow at its own pace, depending on your tank conditions.

    If a listed variety is unavailable, we'll choose a similar suitable alternative.
