Description

Hygrophila polysperma, also known as Indian Swampweed, is one of the easiest aquarium plants to grow, making it a reliable choice for beginners and new tank setups. It grows quickly, helps absorb excess nutrients, and can soon fill out the midground or background with fresh green growth.

This is a fast-growing stem plant that may need regular trimming once established. Under stronger lighting, the upper shoots can develop a subtle reddish-brown tone, adding extra colour without needing a demanding red plant.

Plant into the substrate and, for best results, place two or three small rocks around the stems to help anchor the plant and show off its shape. Supplied as a healthy rooted plant in a 5 cm pot.

Plant Sizes

You’ll receive a healthy, rooted plant in a pot, similar to those shown. Each one is hand-checked before dispatch.
