    Description

Limnophila aquatica (also known as Asian Marshweed or Ambulia), is an elegant stem plant with finely divided, feathery leaves that bring height, movement, and a soft texture to planted aquariums. It works especially well in the background, where its upright growth adds depth and contrast against broader-leaved plants. Under good conditions it grows evenly and can be trimmed and replanted to shape the layout.

Supplied in a sterile 1-2-GROW! cup from Tropica, this plant is free from algae, snails, and pests. Each cup contains multiple plantlets that can be separated and planted in small groups for a natural, full appearance once established.

    Plant Sizes

The image of the plant you'll be receiving is just an example of what you can expect. Each plant is unique and may vary in size and shape, so it won't be an exact match to the photo. If we provide a size guide, keep in mind that it's just an estimate and that plants can vary in size depending on the time of year.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

Tissue cultured plants are supplied young and grown in a sterile environment, so they arrive free from snails, algae and pesticide residue. They may look smaller on arrival, but each cup contains multiple plantlets designed to be divided and planted out, where they establish quickly with minimal melt and grow into place.

    About Tissue Culture Aquarium Plants

    1. Clean, Fresh & Pest-Free

Tissue culture aquarium plants are grown in clean, sterile laboratory conditions, making them a fresh and reliable choice for planted aquariums. They arrive in sealed cups and are free from snails, algae and pesticide residue.

    2. Easy to Prepare

Before adding them to your aquarium, remove the plant from the cup and gently rinse away the gel under lukewarm water. The plant can then be divided into smaller portions, giving you more flexibility when placing it around your tank.

    3. Young Plants, Strong Start

Tissue culture plants are young when supplied, so they may look smaller at first, but they settle in well when given suitable light, nutrients and stable water conditions. Plant or attach them according to the needs of the specific variety.
