Description

Microsorum pteropus, commonly known as Java fern, comes pre-attached to natural wood for a ready-made planted aquarium feature. Its broad, dark green leaves add texture and structure to your aquascape.

Choose Small, Medium or Large. Each is a natural piece of wood, so shape, dimensions and plant coverage vary. Images show examples of the corresponding size.

Java fern grows in low to medium light without CO2 injection and needs little maintenance. Simply rinse and place in the aquarium. Keep the rhizome above the substrate rather than burying it. Small plantlets may develop naturally on the leaves and can be grown on once rooted.
