Bucephalandra 'Crisped Leaves' is a Bornean epiphyte distinguished by its distinctively crimped, crinkled leaf margins — an unusual texture not found in most other Bucephalandra varieties. The crisping adds a tactile, sculptural quality to each leaf and creates interesting visual detail when the plant is attached to wood or rock at close viewing distance.
Care is the same as all Buce: low light, attach to hardscape rather than plant in substrate, and be patient — it's a slow grower. CO2 is not required but encourages more compact, robust growth. Shrimp enjoy the biofilm that develops on the textured leaf surface.
Attach the rhizome to wood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe superglue. Do not bury the rhizome.
