You might be wondering what a floating moss ball is! And it's a very good question - this is a new and unique way of growing plants in your aquarium, perhaps in the way you hadn't thought of before. Floating moss balls are covered in Java moss with a clear line attached and its suction cup at the bottom. You simply push the suction cup to the bottom of your aquarium so it attaches to the glass and the moss ball floats!

So who are these moss balls for? Pretty much anyone who wants to add a new dimension into their aquarium. They also had a three-dimensional look to your tank. They are very easy to grow and keep and do not require any maintenance apart from the odd trim here and there.

Love these

I have shrimp as well as corys, snails and other things that enjoy nibbling. They love the marimo moss balls and have loads but I wanted something a bit different for them. I saw these and debated it for a while then decided to give it a try. Within seconds of them being in the tank some shrimps had discovered one while one of my corys was pecking away at the bottom of the other. I have one in the still area of my tank, one in the air flow and one in between and they are so fun to watch bobbing about. They were delivered a day later than expected, purely due to Royal Mail, so I was concerned about the condition but they are super healthy and were still really damp thanks to great packaging. I was also worried about the “string” and if it would make my tank look messy but it really is super hard to see unless you are up close. Great additions to my tank and I expect I’ll be back to buy some more.

Have bought this item several times. In place in my 30l biorb where the shrimps love them. I have 3 at different levels the shrimps settle on them especially if food gets attached to them.

Since moving from silk plants to live plants have used aqua essentials to set up 4 of my tanks, always comes packaged well, plants in excellent condition and my last order one of the plants I ordered had melt so instead they sent as a 1.2 grow cup with a note to explain very pleased and will always use for any aquarium needs

Bought 3 plants and some spiderwood from aqua essentials. Happy with the plants , all came in good condition and look stunning ,although I am disappointed in the spiderwood given that it only has one root on it and doesn't offer much coverage
