Echinodorus cordifolius 'Fluitans' is an easy sword plant with wavy, light-green leaves. It is less inclined to grow above the water than other cordifolius forms; large leaves may develop just below the surface.

Plant in a nutritious substrate or use root tabs. Allow room for the rosette and leaves to develop, and use as a midground or background specimen according to tank size.

Supplied as an established potted plant. Keep the crown at substrate level.
