Description
Neutro+ is a liquid plant fertiliser that provides trace elements and macronutrients (NPK) for high tech planted aquariums. The definition of 'high tech' is injecting with pressurised CO2 with moderate to high lighting. This all in one solution (which is shrimp safe) makes dosing really easy. The results are impressive and plant growth is better, healthier, quicker and stronger - but only if you dose as recommended.
Dosage: This product needs to be dosed daily so that your plants have a steady stream of nutrients. There's little point in dumping a week's worth of fertilisers in one go. Simply add 5ml per 100L every day. It doesn't matter what time of the day you dose, as long as it's every 24 hours. Over time as your plants grow, you need to increase the amount of Neutro+ you are adding. Larger plants need more food than they did, let's say a week ago. If you don't give them the food they need, the plant will struggle and algae will begin to take hold.
It's worth noting that regardless of what type of planted aquarium you have (i.e. low tech or high tech), we recommend using Neutro CO2 which is a liquid carbon supplement (see related products for more information). This will help all plants not only by adding another source of carbon, but also keeping any algae at bay.
Bottle sizes: Small = 500ml, Medium = 1000ml, Large = 2000ml
The bottle has a cap that measures 10ml. In order to dose, you can pour directly into that or use one of our dispensing bottles (which is on the better together promotion on the right-hand side of the screen).
Shake the bottle well before use.

Good product, finally plants seem to be happy and algae is under control at last. It took me almost 6 weeks to get it right. I have had to up the dose of neutro+ to 25ml per day. But it is working well now.

I didn’t understand why my dwarf hairgrasses were struggling- tried upping co2 then tried upping light intensity. No effect other than algae. Finally replaced my fertiliser with Neutro plus and my grasses are booming (FYI was already using good substrate)

As soon as I started using Neutro+ I noticed a change in my plants vigour, I have been dosing every day using a low tech set up (having changed from a CO2 injection and Tropica feed) and the growth has been steady and the plants look really great. I am new to the hobby and it is great to find something that can be bought in bulk, this means you don't worry about uping the dosage, which you will need to do as the plants grow. It is really quite econmoical, my regret is that I did'nt but the biggest bottle, which I will next time.
I also reccomend getting the Neutro CO2, the combination of the two has boosted growth, where I am worrying about pruning not a system that is limping along.
I use a calpol syringe for dosing, if something was provided that would be great, but it is still worth 5 stars. Tom Leeds

What a fantastic product I am using this in conjunction with Neutro Co2. I have only been using them for a short while and my plants are looking even greener and fuller than when they first arrived from AE. My Aponogeton Crispus has even flowered.
